Tipetti goblets are some of the most classic and valuable products in Murano glass-making.
The tipetto is the tangible representation of timeless luxury straight from the princely courts of Europe. Its presence is seen in all of human history, from legends to tragedies, to magic, to historical events, each Murano glass goblet is a small masterpiece.
Their definition is 19th century Murano slang applied to goblets with a base, on which stem took the extraordinary form. Tristan is a spectacular product and is amazing for both its exquisite decoration and its incredible lightness: the ethereal weight of a feather in your hands. Its decoration features a fumé knot in place of a stem superimposed by two elements similar to broad wings and by a furnace flower. The cup, whose base is enclosed by a small garland, shows a typical twine of the technique "rigadin menà". Due to its exquisite features, this classic Murano glass tipetto is for display purposes only and is not suitable for food or drink.
Regardless of the place where it is displayed, it will always distinguish itself thanks to its elegant and particular design, achieved through the hardworking process of glass blowing.
Every day Murano artisans realize Murano glass objects. The Master sets up the work and coordinates his “serventi“ which help him in the preparation of the piece using incandescent furnaces: first they draw their desired object on some papers hanging close to the kilns then, once the glass is at the right temperature, the glassmakers shape quickly the material to obtain their glass artwork.
