Murano Glass captures the poetry of seashells! YourMurano.com presents Abalone Collection, the new line of centrepieces by Yalos, the “prêt à porter” brand by glassmaking furnace Ferro Murano. The two distinct styles, Cyprea and Spirula, are “cartoccio” bowls and plates that can stand alone or be mixed and matched in splendid ensembles of different shapes, sizes and patterns. Design and Murano glass meet to give life to the very first edition of the Oriental Design Week in Milan. YourMurano, thanks to a previous collaboration with the Shiina+Nardi Design studio, is a partner of the Fuorisalone Sarpi Bridge-Oriental Design Week event, for the project “J+I 6 Japanese Designers Collaborate With Italian Artisans“. The classic jewel of Murano glass tradition. It was the year 1968 when Ercole Moretti gave life to a new style of jewellery, that rapidly became a classic and are commonly known as Murrine. By using a simple copper frame, he formed a circle in which he arranged a composition of murrina glass cane fragments. Spring is in the air on the island of Murano: YourMurano.com presents the new collection by Futura T&B in Murano, dedicated to the season of rebirth.
