This sculpture is not only an artistic piece of incredible beauty, but also a symbol of the sea, in all its complex hues. This dolphin, set on a base, captures a dynamic movement that seems to graze the surface of the water.

The colour of this "sommerso" style sculpture is quite extraordinary: the green glass base is immersed in layer upon layer of different colours, creating the intense hues that give transparency and light to the finished sculpture.

The important dimensions of this sculpture make it a focal point for any room, to be admired day after day.

Vetreria Artistica Oball

The Vetreria Artistica Oball established by Luigi Onesto and then assisted by his sons Fabio and Michele, has been operating since over 30 years.

Mainly operating in the gift and interior decoratin items since always. Our production is featured by the material and design quality committment; our products are hand made using the most antique and traditional glass processing techniques. Today, all products are conceived and designed by Fabio and Michele Onesto.

This technique (meaning "submerged") involves dipping a thick glass object back into the melting pot to coat it with an equally thick layer of glass of a different colour.

The overlapping colours create a peculiar chromatic effect in the solid glass.
