The sea is home to some of Earth's most amazing creatures; our master glassmakers have always drawn inspiration from these amazing animals.

Gurgle, in particular, with its elongated body and vibrant colours, is a splendid representation of these sea-dwellers, in its more traditional embodiment.

This sculpture, created with the "sommerso" technique, gives colour and joy to any room. The magical layers join to give life to this magnificent final effect.

Vetreria Artistica Oball

The Vetreria Artistica Oball established by Luigi Onesto and then assisted by his sons Fabio and Michele, has been operating since over 30 years.

Mainly operating in the gift and interior decoratin items since always. Our production is featured by the material and design quality committment; our products are hand made using the most antique and traditional glass processing techniques. Today, all products are conceived and designed by Fabio and Michele Onesto.

SOMMERSO

This technique (meaning "submerged") involves dipping a thick glass object back into the melting pot to coat it with an equally thick layer of glass of a different colour.

The overlapping colours create a peculiar chromatic effect in the solid glass.
